GL Types And Ranges Setup

Purpose :

This report just provides a list of all GL Account Types.

Usage:

This report has no selection form. However, it is very useful to see the ranges for the different types. All accounts in the company have to fall under the General Categories of Assets, Cost, Equity, Other Income, Liability, Sales, Taxes and Expenses. However, there are a number of GL Types(see setup GL Types and ranges) that need to be setup having a lower and Upper bound based in the GL account numbering criteria used by the company. This report includes Account Type, Description, Lower Limit, Upper Limit, and Typical Balance
